It's the Simple Things

“We aim to promote sustainability through the
maternity design that transitions in size
as a woman’s body changes during pregnancy.”
OUR STORY

PROBLEM

Picture
Maternity-wear in the U.S. is a $2 billion industry that caters to over 6 million American pregnant people each year. Far too many clothes aimed at pregnant people are ridiculously expensive, considering these are clothing pieces that are only relevant for a few months of your life. Rationalizing a significant financial investment in a brand-new wardrobe that's entirely temporary? Talk about stress. Do you really want to sign up for this industry for nine months?
While plus-sized wear clothing can be an alternative for expecting mothers, donning maternity clothing is often considered a rite of pregnancy passage; when you pull on your first pair of pregnancy-specific jeans, it can feel like you're finally one step closer to meeting your baby. For plenty of pregnant people, rocking maternity-wear can be a point of pride. We don’t want to take this experience away from our customers.

Fast Fashion Textile Waste Crisis

Maternity wear from mass focused maternity wear brands is a wasteful purchase that creates unnecessary industrial waste and amplifies the burden on the environment.  The maternity wear market, with brands rooted in fast fashion, such as Topshop and ASOS, is still grabbing much of the attention with their maternity collections. The fast-fashion model encourages consumers to view clothing as disposable. In fact, the average American throws away approximately 80 pounds of clothing and textiles annually, occupying nearly 5% of landfill space. Maternity wear is usually only viable for a few months and either given away or thrown out after labor.

Our Solution
Personal choices can lead to big changes.

We want to reinvent the maternity wear industry. Our maternity wear can be worn before, after, and during pregnancy. Our maternity wear solves the problem of the limited period of usage, their impact on the environment and the high price of what’s on the market. Our product is also uniquely designed while using organic and recycled material. Saving the environment, your time and money while giving you the comfort and joy of pregnancy you deserve.
